The top-ranked Hobart hockey team scored a pair of first period goals as it knocked off second-ranked Utica 3-1 in Hartford Connecticut yesterday.
With the win the Statesmen are 27-2-1 overall on the season, and they advance to the Division Three national championship game for the second straight season.
Hobart takes on Trinity College, Saturday night for the national championship.
