The first-ever girls only wrestling team for Penn Yan, Dundee and Bradford took to the mat on Sunday at the “Clash at the Creek” Freestyle Tournament at Red Creek High School.

Defending State Champion, sophomore Peyton Mullin took home gold going 3-0 with teammate Zoey White going 5-0. Freshman Savannah Benedict, Lacie Flynn and Emma Sorce all finished in second place.

Zoey White finished the day with five pinfalls in a total of 2:20 and also had the fastest pin of that day at only 15 seconds.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
