Siena Poll: Gov Hochul has 56% Approval Rating

New York’s governor is kicking off 2023 with a high job approval rating and highest ever favorability rating.

According to a Siena College poll, Governor Kathy Hochul has a 56% approval from New Yorkers and a favorability rating of 48%.

Despite this favorable rating, the majority of New Yorkers do not believe the governor will be able to deliver on her promise of making the state a more affordable place to live.
