Genoa Boil Water Order Remains in Effect

The Boil Water Order for the Town of Genoa is still in effect.

The Cayuga County Health Department says a Friday water main break caused a section of the water system to lose pressure, increasing the chance of untreated water and harmful microbes entering residents’ taps.

The health department says it will notify Genoa residents once the order is lifted.
