In this episode:
- The county is using $10,000 it received from NYSERDA for being a Clean Energy Community to install two electric vehicle charging stations at the new Public Safety Building when it’s complete.
- There will be a Public Information Meeting on 2/22 at 6:00 p.m. at the Highway Building on the proposed new build.
- Bicentennial Year – New “2023 Bicentennial” signs being installed. The county is refurbishing ten historic markers.
- The county’s Supplemental Ambulance Service has hired an Operations Manager and purchased three ambulances.
- New Hires – Director of Public Health and Director of Veterans’ Services.
- In the Governor’s proposed budget, the state will no longer share federal Medicaid funds and tax enforcement surplus distribution, but will increase the percentage of DMV fees going to counties.
