FLX MORNING PODCAST – “Keeping a Promise” art exhibit at FLCC

In this episode:

  • We talked with Barron Naegel, associate professor of art and director of the Williams-Insalaco Gallery 34 on the main campus, and Barbara Murphy, professor emeritus of humanities.
  • Barbara wrote poems, called ekphrastic poems, based on photos taken by her nephew, Joe Ripperger. Before he passed away, Barbara promised that she would find a place to show her work.
  • Barron saw the exhibit at a Rochester art gallery and suggested that she bring it to the Williams-Insalaco Gallery 34 on the main campus.
  • The exhibit will be shown through April 10.
