From Plainville FD via Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire
Fire crews responded to and battled a house fire at the northern end of Cayuga County, Thursday.
First responders from Cato, Victory, Red Creek, Ira, Jordan, Plainville, Conquest, Weedsport, Auburn, and Jordan responded the fire on Route 176 near 370 in the Town of Ira. Crews battled the flames overnight.
The fire’s cause remains under investigation.
