Diocese of Rochester Bishop Releases Statement on Death of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI

Upon the Saturday death of the former pope, Benedict XVI, Bishop Salvatore Matano of the Diocese of Rochester has released a statement on the pontiff’s passing.

In the letter, Matano said “we unite with our Holy Father, Pope Francis, and the entire Church Universal and all people of faith in mourning the death of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI”
