As Ukraine marks one year of fighting off an invasion by Russia, President Biden visited Ukraine’s capital of Kyiv earlier this week to confirm America’s commitment to help the Eastern European nation win its war against Russian aggression.
One February 24, 2022, Russian armed forces poured over the border in an effort to seize Kyiv. Ukraine managed to repel the attack against its capital and continues to fight against enemy forces.
