A Weedsport man is facing attempted murder and assault charges after an incident in Cayuga County.
State Police say they responded to a Pople Road residence in the Town of Victory, Monday, for the report of an assault. An investigation found 39-year old Christopher Laframboise attacked the resident with an edged weapon, causing severe injury to the victim.
Laframboise was arrested shortly after during a traffic stop in the Town of Conquest and charged with felony counts of attempted murder and assault.
