Cayuga County Legislature to Vote on Salary Increase for Clerk

Cayuga County’s next clerk may be in for a pay raise.

County Legislature is expected to vote Tuesday on whether or not to increase the clerk’s salary with a three percent annual raise. The current salary for the position is 83-thousand dollars.

Republican Legislator Chris Petrus has announced his intentions to replace retiring clerk Sue Dwyer.

Democrats are currently seeking a candidate for the position
