A nurse at Auburn Community Hospital has received a DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
According to The Citizen, Barbara Hewitt, a pre-admission testing nurse received the award from the Diseases Attacking the Immune System Foundation after being nominated by patient Frank Magner.
Established by the DAISY Foundation, these awards recognize nurses who have had a profound impact in the lives of their patients and patients’ families.
