Firefighters in Auburn made quick work of an overnight fire on McIntosh Drive.
According to the Fire Department, a platoon arrived to the residence just before 2:30 Monday morning where flames were seen around the building’s chimney. The fire was brought under control in only five minutes; however, crew were on scene for overhaul and investigation until 6:30a.
No injuries were reported and the family was not displaced by the fire.
