One Cayuga County historic location is reopening early.
The Community Preservation Committee reports that, due to an unforeseen halt in its chandelier restoration, the Willard Memorial Chapel will open for tours this month.
The site closed November 1st to begin restoration work on its Tiffany Chandeliers and was to remain closed until June.
The chapel contains the last surviving installation by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the world still at its original location.
Tours will be available from 10:00a to 2:00p Thursdays and Fridays with the last tour beginning at 1:00p. To request a different tour date and time, you can email [email protected] or call 315-252-0339.
