Auburn Will Seek FEMA Grant For Firefighter Training

The City of Auburn will apply for a FEMA Grant to allow for live fire training for its firefighters.

Fire Chief Mark Fritz spoke at Thursday’s City Council meeting:

City Council approved a resolution to apply for just under 41-thousand dollars from FEMA to cover 90% of the costs of the training. Auburn would then fund the remaining 10% or approximately 45-hundred dollars.
