Law enforcement are investigating the death of an Onondaga County Junior High Student and her father.
Baldwinsville Police say they responded to 6 Triangle Place for a wellness check Friday morning. Upon arrival, they found 14-year old Ava Wood on a bed, dead from a gunshot wound.
Her father, 51-year old Christopher Wood, was found in another bedroom, with what police believe to be a self inflicted gunshot wound.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing and we will update this story as more information becomes available.
