A Yates County woman was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital after she was involved in a one-car accident Friday morning in Benton.
Kathleen McCabe, of Bluff Point, was driving north on State Route 14A when she drove off the east side of the road and struck a row of shrubs. Her car continued North on the east side of the road, went airborne and rolled before it hit a tree.
McCabe suffered injuries to her face and was airlifted by Mercy Flight.
Penn Yan Ambulance, Benton Fire Department and the Office of Emergency Management assisted the Yates County Sheriff’s Office on the scene.
