Yates County History Center Receives Grant

The Yates County History Center has been awarded a $4,129 grant from the James P. Gordon Trust to support preservation and operational efforts.

As a non-profit organization, the History Center depends on grants and donations to continue its mission of preserving and sharing the history of Yates County.

The History Center staff and volunteers interpret history through programs, lectures, reenactments, and tours. They aid researchers from around the world to find their family histories. The Yates County History Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that relies on memberships and donations to continue to fulfill its mission of collecting, preserving, and interpreting the history of Yates County.
