One woman is dead after a two-car collision in Schuyler County Thursday.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Angela Spang failed to yield to a vehicle being driven by Daniel Byer at the intersection of State Route 414 and Mathews Road in the Town of Hector. Both vehicles traveled approximately 500 feet before coming to rest on the west side of 414.
Spang was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
