Watkins Glen Man Gets State Prison for Drug Sales

A Watkins Glen man will spend the next eight years in prison for selling drugs in Schuyler County.

Michael Doane pleaded guilty two months ago to two felony charges of criminal sale of a controlled substance. The 59-year-old admitted to selling methamphetamine on multiple occasions in the county.

Doane was sentenced on Thursday by Schuyler County Judge Matthew Hayden as a Second Felony Offender and received four years in state prison along with 1.5 years of post-release supervision on each count.
