The Village of Dresden will begin fire hydrant flushing on Tuesday.

The Village’s Department of Public Works says residents may see a discoloration of the water in their household. This does not mean your water is unsafe. If you have discolored water, the Village recommends running cold water from your tap for 3-5 minutes then fill a glass with water and inspect it for clarity. If the water is discolored, wait 15-20 minutes and repeat the procedure.

Any questions can be directed to the Village of Dresden’s Department of Public Works at 315-536-2477 or 315-729-4269.
