A 17-year-old was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital after a UTV accident in Yates County.
The accident happened Sunday morning in the area of Wetmore Road in the town of Italy. Three 17-year-old boys were riding in the UTV when the driver lost control and the vehicle overturned. The teen who was airlifted to Rochester suffered an arm injury.
The identities of the three boys involved were not released by the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
Prattsburgh Fire and Ambulance, Lifenet, and the Yates County Office of Emergency Management all assisted at the scene.
