A Beaver Dams man faces a sentence of 6 to 14 years in state prison after pleading guilty in Schuyler County Court to felony charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and stolen property.

The charges against Edward Howlett stemmed from the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office’s execution of a search warrant on his property where more than two ounces of methamphetamine was seized, along with other meth-making materials and more than $3,000 in stolen property.

In addition to time in prison, the 40-year-old Howlett is expected toreceive five years of post-release supervision when sentenced in December.
