The Schuyler County Legislature made it official this week.
Josette Colon was appointed as the next Public Defender at Monday night’s Legislature meeting. Colon comes to Schuyler County from neighboring Chemung where she will finish out her current position as Chief Assistant Public Defender.
Colon, who succeeds Nancy Farrell, will take office on Monday.
