The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Deputy who was found guilty of perjury in Tompkins County Court this week has been fired. That’s according to a report from WENY television.
Zachary Starner had been on administrative leave since his arrest over two years ago.
The 36-year-old Starner, who will be sentenced near the end of May, will have his police officer certification permanently invalidated and will not be able to work for another law enforcement agency.
