A Penn Yan man will be sentenced at the end of August after admitting in court to selling a drug to another person that led to their death.

66-year-old Ted Miller pleaded guilty in Schuyler County Court to a felony charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance. Investigators say the consumption of that unspecified drug contributed to the death of that other person shortly after the sale by Miller.

The case was prosecuted by Schuyler County Chief Assistant District Attorney Jeremy Hourihan.
