A Steuben County man was killed in a weekend snowmobile accident in northern New York.
The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office reports 54-year-old Dean Cole, of Cameron Mills, was traveling on a trail late Saturday afternoon when his snowmobile left the north side and hit a tree. People near the scene helped with CPR until emergency crews arrived.
Cole was brought to a nearby hospital and was pronounced dead.
