A local non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the economic well-being of Schuyler County has planned a county-wide clean-up day this weekend.
On Sunday, residents who would like to join up with Finger Lakes Gateway Community Development Corporation for the cleanup can meet up at the Watkins Glen Village Office or the village hall in Montour Falls. Participants will need to bring their own gloves and garden tools.
The Community Development Corporation states its goal is to attract new capital investments, facilitate development, and create employment opportunities by focusing its efforts on community-focused activities like beautification efforts, decorating for race season, and clean-up efforts.
