Mosaic of the Southern Tier has received a $17,000 grant from Fidelis, enabling the nonprofit to expand its vital parenting education and maternal resources to a new location on East Fourth Street in Watkins Glen.

The distribution was one of nine grants awarded to community-based not-for-profit organizations that support maternal health and wellness across New York State. The grants, totaling $150,000, assist these organizations that play a vital role in ensuring safe pregnancies and healthy babies –particularly for underserved, lower-income women and their families.

Mosaic of the Southern Tier provides information, cost-free services, and practical support to women and families experiencing a pregnancy situation. Mosaic plans to use the Fidelis Caregrant to expand its reach into Schuyler County through the establishment of a satellite office in Watkins Glen.
