Three children between the ages of one and 10 were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital after the pickup truck they were riding in was involved in a rollover accident in Yates County.

An investigation by the Sheriff’s Department revealed 28-year-old John Sikes, of Campbell, was driving in a southwesterly direction on Italy Friend Road in the town of Jerusalem when he went off the road and struck the ditch on the west side Thursday morning. The truck rolled over and came to rest on its wheels in a driveway.

Sikes suffered a neck injury. It was not disclosed the extent of injuries suffered by the children. All four were taken to the hospital by Penn Yan Ambulance.
