A fatal structure fire that occurred in Schuyler County remains under investigation.
The Beaver Dams Fire Department was called out to a garage fire at 1811 Hornby Road in the town of Orange Sunday morning. While extinguishing the blaze, firefighters discovered a body. The identity of the victim has not been released, pending positive identification.
The Schuyler County Fire Investigation team and the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control are assisting the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office in its investigation.
