The Economic Opportunity Program (EOP) is celebrating 60 years of service in Chemung and Schuyler Counties with a Diamond Jubilee and you’re invited to attend.

The Jubilee will take place on Tuesday at noon at the Ernie Davis Community Center in Elmira. The event will highlight the Program’s history and future goals.

As the region’s largest non-profit community services agency, the Economic Opportunity Program supports around 5,000 Schuyler and Chemung County residents with youth care, family development, and energy services. According to its website, more than half of its funding is allocated to childcare in both counties.
