A $28 million capital project was approved by voters in the Dundee School District on Monday. The vote was 186 in favor to 67 against.

The project is budget neutral, meaning the district will utilize planned reserves and state-building aid to finance it. The primary objectives of the project are improvements to the safety and security of the building, addressing H-VAC and other infrastructure needs, and prioritizing work that directly impacts students.

Work is anticipated to begin in Spring 2026 and end in Fall 2028.
