Paving is underway in the business district of Main Street in the village of Penn Yan.
According to the village, this project is a full road reconstruction which means a layer of asphalt base, binder, and top will be placed. There will be several stages of blacktop placement in the next week.
Businesses remain open along Main Street in Penn Yan during the road/sidewalk projects.
