Church Re-Elected Yates County Legislature Chair

At its organizational meeting on Tuesday, Leslie Church was re-elected as chair of the Yates County Legislature. The paper ballot vote was 10-4.

Church was first elected Legislature chairwoman in January of 2022. Her new term expires at the end of 2025.  Edward Bronson was elected Vice Chairman.

Also appointed during Tuesday’s meeting were Jessica Mullins as County Administrator and Budget Officer, and Leigh Battin was appointed Director of Finance. County Legislature Clerk Emilee Miller, County Attorney Scott Falvey, and Public Defender Steve Hampsey were all reappointed.
