A Steuben County man with a prior sex offense conviction is going back to prison.
38-year-old Joshua Wormley of Bath has been sentenced to ten years in prison for possessing child pornography.
According to the US Attorney’s Office, Wormley was convicted of attempting to possess child porn in 2017. In 2021, he was found with a cellphone containing roughly 800 images and two videos of illegal material, some of which depicted prepubescent minors.
The sentencing was the result of an investigation by the FBI and the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
