The New York State Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Ithaca man.

20-year-old Jonathan DaGostino is described as a 6-foot-tall, 210-pound man with a shaved head, dark beard, and mustache. He was last seen on video leaving Ithaca College on September 7 around 6:30 a.m., wearing blue jeans, a gray sweatshirt, and a green knit hat.

Authorities say his vehicle was later found at Lower Buttermilk Falls State Park in the Town of Ithaca, along with his cell phone. A note suggesting self-harm was reportedly found inside the vehicle.

Anyone with information about DaGostino is urged to contact the New York State Park Police at 607-387-7081.
