More than 410,000 New Yorkers live with Alzheimer’s disease. The Alzheimer’s Association leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and its Rochester-Finger Lakes Chapter covers nine counties including Yates, Schuyler, Ontario, and Steuben. Lauren Snyder volunteers with the Association and she explained to us why.
With help from the Association, Lauren has started support groups for caregivers in Yates County.
