Women’s Hall of Fame Names Interim Director

The National Women’s Hall of Fame has named an Interim Director.

Karen Macier comes to the Seneca Falls landmark following a career in helping local non-profits become more effective, sustainable, and mission-driven. Her previous experience includes time with the Seneca Museum of Waterways & Industry, United Way of Cayuga County, and United Way of Seneca County. According to the Hall, Macier’s objective during her time with us will be to enhance operational efficiency at the Museum, build the infrastructure needed for organizational growth, improve fundraising and donor relations, and strategic planning, and assist the Board in finding her successor.

Macier replaces Jennifer Gabriel, who resigned from the position of executive director on July 31st.
