The investigation into illegal online activity alleged to have occurred last month has resulted in the arrest of a Wayne County man.
25-year-old Logan Boyer is accused of communicating with a person online who portrayed themselves as a 14-year-old girl. During their conversations, Boyer sent nude pictures and invited the person who he thought was a 14-year-old girl and invited her to have sex.
The Sodus man was charged with attempted disseminating indecent material to minors and was released to appear in court next month.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
