A Wayne County mom was arrested on Valentine’s Day after she allegedly struck her son, who is under the age of 17, with her shoe approximately 25 times.
47-year-old Shenel Fields is also accused of holding her son down by his hair. The Lyons resident was charged with harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.
Fields was released from police custody following her arraignment.
