An Ontario County woman has been identified as the person who died after being struck by a car in a Wegmans parking lot in Perinton.
63-year-old Jane Kahehl, of Victor, had reportedly just gotten out of her car when she was hit by a car pulling into another parking space last Thursday morning. Kanehl was taken by ambulance to Strong in Rochester where she passed away on Friday.
An investigation determined sun glare was a contributing factor in the accident. The driver, who was not identified, stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
