Felony charges of aggravated sexual abuse filed against three Clyde-Savannah high school students were dropped by Wayne County Judge Richard Healy on Friday.

The three members of the high school football team were arrested back in November for their roles in an alleged assault on a 14-year-old teammate inside of a school locker room on Halloween.

In his ruling, Judge Healy said there was insufficient evidence to support the aggravated sexual abuse charges. The teens still will face charges of hazing and forcible touching, both misdemeanors.

A fourth teen, who was charged with unlawful surveillance, is having his case handled in Family Court.
