Over 5-THOUSAND volunteers will be mobilized across six counties next month, including Ontario and Wayne counties, as part of the United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes’ Day of Caring.
On May 11th, volunteers will be matched with a local nonprofit agency and will help out with gardening, spring cleanup and beautification projects. Organizers say there are still hundreds of volunteer spots available and agencies to support.
