Two Charged in Connection With Stolen Jeep/Dog

Two people have been charged in connection with stealing that Jeep Cherokee that had a dog inside from a parking lot at the Waterloo Premium Outlet Mall on Saturday.

State Police in Auburn spotted the black Latitude with Pennsylvania license plates Sunday night and arrested 45-year-old Charles Donato, of Fleming, and 41-year-old Jay Garrigan, Junior, of Auburn. Both were charged with a felony and a misdemeanor count of criminal possession of stolen property.

Glenn, the 6-year-old Morkie, was recovered as well, was said to be in perfect health, and was turned over to his owners on the scene.
