Ten days after a car collided with a school bus at the intersection of County Road 6 and Billsboro Road in the town of Geneva, a two-car accident at the same intersection on Thursday sent three people to the hospital.
An investigation determined that after stopping at the intersection, 77-year-old Elaine Cervantes of Fairport woman attempted to cross County Road 6 when she failed to yield for a southbound car driven by 69-year-old Shelly Hyde, of Geneva. Hyde and her two passengers were taken to Geneva General Hospital for minor injuries.
Cervantes was ticketed for failure to yield.
