Augmented Reality — or AR could be in the future for local tourism.
The Finger Lakes Times reports Visit Finger Lakes, the non-profit Tourism Promotion Agency for Ontario County is asking for proposals to develop a web-based program where when you stop and read one of the hundreds of the blue state history markers, a narrator would tell you more about the history behind the state sign.
