A Seneca Falls woman was charged with felony attempted assault following an alleged incident at a group-home residence in Seneca Falls.
It is alleged that 25-year-old Riccy Rosa-Najera became upset and punched an officer in the face while he was trying to deal with a separate incident involving her. The officer was able to avoid injury and took Rosa-Najera into custody.
Rosa-Najera was released on an appearance ticket for Seneca Falls Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
