A $20,000 grant will help The Seneca Falls Museum and Tourism Center host free programming this summer.

The museum announced a partnership with the Bonafiglia Family Foundation that will allow the museum to offer a variety of free public programming in Seneca Falls.

The grant will support the Free Music in the Park Concert Series from June through August every Thursday night from 6:00-8:00p at People’s Park. The music series will be held in conjunction with Summer Thursdays, promoting participating downtown and Sacket District businesses’ shopping and dining specials.

The museum will once again hold The Outdoor Art Festival along the Cayuga-Seneca Canal. The free event showcases local art vendors, food trucks, face painting, live music, and family-friendly activities. The museum also announced that it will create an art trail brochure to help visitors to the village find artworks around Seneca Falls.

The museum will also launch the “25 in 250” Speaker Series, welcoming 25 speakers to the museum throughout 2026 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, speaking on what Seneca Falls means to the country.

“Working with the Bonafiglia Family Foundation is a wonderful opportunity to continue to promote the rich arts, culture, and
history in and around Seneca Falls,” says the Executive Director, Dr. Andrew Olden of the Seneca Falls Museum and Tourism Center.

“Dr. Andrew Olden, his staff, and the Seneca Falls Museum & Tourism Center’s Board of Directors have done a remarkable job honoring our small town’s history while thoughtfully building its future,” said Judy Wentzel, Executive Director of the Bonafiglia Family Foundation. “Tourism plays a vital role in the long‑term sustainability of our community, and the Foundation is proud to support initiatives like this that foster meaningful and positive change.”

Events will be updated on the museum’s website.
