A Seneca Falls man was arrested on a number of felonies, including menacing a police officer, following an incident that happened Saturday morning.

When police responded to a home for the report of a disturbance, they attempted to speak to Woodrow Edwards at the scene. Officers say Edwards brandished a knife in close proximity to where they were standing. He was eventually taken into custody without incident.

In addition to three felony counts of menacing a police officer, the 54-year-old was charged with a felony count of criminal possession of a weapon.

At last word, Edwards was being held at the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
